Directions: All DCE APUSH students are required to read one of the following books in August 2010. You may pick up a copy of your book selection in the H.S. Library by June 9. Otherwise you are responsible for getting a book from the public libraries or by purchasing online or at one of the bookstores in town.

  1. (Hailey Marie Nuthals) Mr. Aleckson:
I have a concern dealing with the blogs- on the handout given to me detailing the summer reading assignment, there were four choices of books for us to read (1776, The American Revolution, Rise to Rebellion, and The Glorious Cause). I had chosen to read The Glorious Cause, but when I came on this site to complete the blogging part of the assignment I didn't see anywhere for me to put my entries. I am a little confused, as it turns out that The Glorious Cause is not mentioned anywhere on any of the related pages. Was this book removed from the list, or is the blog simply not ready yet? I appreciate your response.

  2. (Dylan Brushaber) I have the same concern as Hailey. I have just finished the first part of The Glorious Cause, but am unable to find a place for the entry. I look forward to your reply.
